Full bone-impacted wisdom tooth extraction is the most complex surgical procedure we perform. These wisdom teeth are completely hidden in bone and never appear in the oral cavity. They often produce no symptoms and are discovered incidentally on radiographic examination. They can cause hidden problems: follicular cysts, root resorption of neighbouring teeth, infections and, rarely, neoplastic changes. Timely removal prevents far more difficult and painful situations later. At BadamDent a detailed CBCT scan is mandatory before surgery — it shows the tooth's relationship to the inferior alveolar nerve, lingual bone plate, maxillary sinus and adjacent roots with millimetre accuracy. The safest, least invasive surgical route is planned based on this data using internationally recognised 3D planning software. Treatment is more comfortable under sedation — the patient is unaware of the procedure as it happens. After local anaesthesia a gum flap is raised, piezosurgical instruments carefully open the bone in a controlled way and the tooth is sectioned into small fragments and removed. The wound is thoroughly irrigated, a PRF biostimulator is placed and it is closed with aesthetic sutures. The procedure takes 60–90 minutes. Modern equipment and the surgeon's expertise significantly shorten recovery time. Aftercare: comprehensive instructions, a medication plan and a cold-compress protocol. Full bone healing continues for up to 6 months.
