Medentika (Germany) is a German-made implant system that belongs to the Straumann Group. It was acquired by Straumann in the 2010s and has become their strategic mid-premium implant brand. The system is recognised for German quality, precise engineering and proven construction. The material is Grade 4 Commercially Pure Titanium or Roxolid (a titanium-zirconium alloy with higher strength). An activated SLA-type surface (sandblasted, acid-etched) ensures excellent osseointegration — clinical studies report 98% success. The Medentika system is supplied with a broad range of prosthetic components (abutments, screws, healing caps, scan bodies) and, most importantly, is fully compatible with all popular premium systems (Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Astra Tech). This eliminates future component-availability concerns and gives the patient treatment mobility. Diameters from 3.5 to 5.0 mm and lengths from 8 to 14 mm are available. The Roxolid version is especially valuable for narrow-diameter implants — providing high strength in tight spaces.
